Lardson Berg is the rural dean and responsible for personnel issues. I think the ending in this one is totally unnecesary, the last murder was cruel and although I get Larsson point here, she wanted Rebecka to break down, I think the whole situation was enough stressfull to achieve it Other books in the series.
My hubby and I had even spent some time in the Jukkasjarvi church where the story says the priest’s body was found. Wanted to really like this as I’ve visited Kiruna and am fond of the place and I enjoyed her first book a lot. A female priest—who made enemies and acolytes in equal number—has been drramada hanging in her church. And local policewoman Anna-Maria, a kind of alternative version of Rebecka, is on the case.
Lists with This Book. Of course it does help that her aid in Sun Storm has brought the firm a lot of good publicity — and clients. I noticed one strange grammatical error and that was her use of “has or had got” instead of “gotten”.
This novel tells the tale of the investigation into a murder of a priest in a remote Swedish area. Rebecka is struggling to be able to focus and function at work, something that is evident to those with whom she works, friend and foe.
My brother gave me this book for my birthday. Om de zoveel hoofdstukken verscheen een hoofdstuk ‘Gele pote Huh? Was it really necessary for Lisa to kill sangrs the chickens and dogs? The fact that I didn’t lsrsson the snagre book of the series probably did not help in terms of empathy towards her.
This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. I can’t say that I disliked this one terribly, but it really just didn’t pull me in the way the first one did. Want to Read saving…. Ligt het aan mij of niet, ik weet het niet, maar veel begreep ik er niet van. None of that for me.
I’m not really into crime fiction, so maybe the flaws I found are just part of the genre rules. In fact, I skipped reading those paragraphs entirely. He loves her, and I’m not sure about her. Y oficialmente sanyre esta saga. Interestin I should’ve liked this mystery, but it wasn’t nearly as successful as 1 in the series.

Lungo, noioso, e con il giallo che si risolve quasi da solo e per caso a poche pagine dalla fine. In this book Rebecka meets a young man with some sort of learning disability.
En resumen, no voy a seguir con la autora. Imust say that I found the first somewhat better, but both are pretty similar to one another. In my edition each chapter’s first page was in a modern typeface and the rest of the chapter in a Roman typeface.
To be a series, the book leaves much to be desired.
It is a masterpiece that transcends the genre, and leaves other Scandinavian crime writers far behind. I may read the book for which she won an award – “Sun Storm”.
It never held my attention. I liked this book and will order her first one. This hovered between a two and a three star read for me, I’m possibly being slightly harsh on it by plumping for a ‘two out of five’ assessment in the end, but ultimately I can’t remember a relatively small book taking so long to trudge through in recent years.

Will she ever be able to function fully in the world again? Sure it’s a laudable effort on Mildred’s part to want to preserve the wolves, but why is it here? This book is just ok.
